The Hearing and Talking Scale (HATS)

The Hearing And Talking Scale (HATS) has 5 questions asking about a child’s ability to understand and use spoken language. It can be used for children up to about 5 years of age.

The scores will help you work with families to find out if a child may have a problem.

Recommendations for action are provided in the score form.
